Lighter H posts are available for acoustic barrier installations up to 5m overall post length. A typical arrangement allows 1m below ground and 4m above ground, subject to structural design.
Posts & Structural Supports
Engineered for Strength. Designed for Flexibility.
Explore Euro Acoustics steel post configurations for acoustic barrier and noise barrier fencing, including inter posts, corner posts, T-junction posts and end posts. Our 152 × 152 mm post sections support a range of barrier layouts, with H-post and U-post/column options available to suit project requirements. Final post selection is subject to site-specific structural and wind-load design.
Our system uses a combination of H posts and U posts/columns
with 152 × 152mm posts to create different support configurations.
Used for straight runs between panels. The Inter post is a 152 × 152mm post to support the panel sections.
Used for 90° corners. A U post/column is used in combination with a 152 × 152mm post to form a strong corner configuration.
Used where a fence line meets at a T junction. A U post/column is combined with a 152 × 152mm post to create a stable junction point.
Used at the end of a barrier run. A U post/column is used with a 152 × 152mm post to provide a clean and secure termination point.
Our 152 × 152mm steel posts are available in a range of section weights to suit different acoustic barrier heights and project requirements. Final post selection depends on wind load and structural calculations.
| 152 × 152 × 23 kg/m | 2–4m high fencing |
| 152 × 152 × 30 kg/m | 3–5m high fencing |
| 152 × 152 × 37 kg/m | 5–7m high fencing |
| 152 × 152 × 44 kg/m | 6–8m high fencing |
152 × 152mm hollow steel sections with 3mm wall thickness are also available. Approximate theoretical mass: 14 kg/m, subject to the actual section dimensions.
